Place your tea cups onto your poems, use paper that has already been used and write over your history, write over what you’ve already written, use different coloured pens and different kinds of ink. Use pencil. Quote whatever you feel like quoting. Write in another direction. Write into the margins. Write into the creases. Write through your terrible punctuation. Misspell all the words you want to. Stop. Do something else. Return. Pick a different place to start.
